Chocolate and Peanut Butter Oat Bars

Classic rolled oats, baked to perfection with chocolate and peanut butter. Great for breakfast bars.

Ingredients

  

  • 2 cups Almond Milk Any milk or milk substitute
  • 1/4 cup Maple Syrup Or Honey
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil Or Apple Sauce
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 2 cups Classic Rolled Oats
  • 2 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • 3/4 cup Chocolate Chips Semi-Sweet
  • 1 tbsp Butter Unsalted
  • 8 tsps Peanut Butter

Instructions

 

  • Grease a baking dish (8x11) with the butter
  • Combine the dry ingredients, including the chocolate chips then combine
  • Pour the dry ingredients into the greased baking dish
  • Scatter the peanut butter in 1 tsp dollops on top of the dry ingredients
  • Combine the wet ingredients into a large mixing bowl
  • Pour the wet ingredients overtop of the dry ingredients
  • Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes
  • Let it cool (30 minutes), then divide into 6 bars
  • Store in the fridge for 5 days, or freeze for up to 2 months
