Apple Cinnamon Oat Bars

Classic rolled oats, baked to perfection with apples and cinnamon. Great for breakfast bars.

Equipment

  • Baking Dish (Click Here) 7 x 11 or 8 x 11

Ingredients

  

  • 2 cups Almond Milk Any milk or milk substitute
  • 1/4 cup Maple Syrup Or Honey
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil Or Apple Sauce
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 2 cups Classic Rolled Oats
  • 2 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • 3 ea Apples I prefer Honey Crisp
  • 1 tbsp Butter Unsalted

Instructions

 

  • Grease a baking dish (8x11) with the butter
  • Peel, core, and dice all 3 apples, then pour half the apples into the greased baking dish. (Place the other half of the diced apples on the side for now)
  • Combine the dry ingredients (oats, cinnamon, baking powder, salt)
  • Pour the dry ingredients into the greased baking dish
  • Combine the wet ingredients into a large mixing bowl
  • Pour the wet ingredients overtop of the dry ingredients
  • Bake at 375 degrees for 45-50 minutes
  • Let it cool (30 minutes), then divide into 6-8 bars
  • Store in the fridge for 5 days, or freeze for up to 2 months
